Hello my friends in Cyberspace,
I will be out of commission for a little while and my posts will be very sporadic over the next few weeks. My father is currently ill and I may be going home to visit for a short time. I will try not to be away too long because I know you just can't live without me, LOL!

Thank you everyone for being so kind with your words and for the prayers. It's a difficult time for everyone in our family at this moment because the outcome does not look good so if you can find it in your hearts to continue to pray we would be so grateful.
My papa is a great man, one who came into my life at a time when I needed a male role model and he helped heal a heart that had come undone at an early age. Through his wisdom and kindness he reached down and pulled me up beside him and kept me there all these years. He taught me that all men were not created equal because he became my friend--he always looked out for me and was the first one to make sure I had five bucks in my pocket when I was leaving the house because I was always broke back them. I still walk around without a dime on me but that's only because my kids always have my five bucks.
Thank you all for your patience and for checking in on me. I will try to rise to the occassion again shortly!
